Umqombothi is Princeton's first and only African a cappella group.
Our name, from the Zulu Language, is a rich beer commonly found in southern Africa.
Just like some real Umqombothi, we are both refreshing and intoxicating.
We bring vibrant music from several different African cultures of both
a traditional and more contemporary nature.
We hope to spread awareness about the African continent
and to bring rich diversity to the University's artistic scene.
